Job summary

ArchKey Solutions seeks a Human Resources Director – Major Projects to lead strategic HR partnerships across its major projects and national operations. Based in St.

Louis, MO, this role drives workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness in unionized environments, guiding leaders with compliant, business‑focused people strategies. You will partner with Operations, Legal, and HR leadership to align policies with CBAs, resolve complex labor matters, and foster talent

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including labor and employee relations.
• 5+ years of HR leadership in unionized or project-based environments.
• Experience in large-scale construction or industrial services preferred.
• Broad knowledge across staffing, talent management, compensation, benefits, organizational design, development, and effectiveness.
• Ability to influence senior leaders in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enforce Local and National CBAs across jurisdictions and projects.
• Provide strategic guidance on union referral systems and labor obligations.
• Investigate grievances and manage escalation for high-risk issues.
• Partner with Operations and Legal to address workforce planning and risks.
• Ensure policy alignment with employment laws and company standards.
• Lead or oversee HR investigations and ensure compliant documentation.
