Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. in the United States is looking for an Associate Manager for New Verticals - Retail Strategy & Operations to help shape the strategy and launch new Retail products. You’ll identify opportunities, build strategic roadmaps, and run experiments to scale DoorDash Retail offerings.

You’ll develop models in SQL and Excel, leverage AI tools, and partner with product, design, analytics and engineering to ship new selections and drive measurable impact across our retail initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or related roles.
• Past operating experience in startups, tech, retail, or similar.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Strategize from first principles to serve customers and merchants.
• Operate dashboards and own week-over-week movement and quarterly targets.
• Analyze costs and benefits using models in SQL, Excel, and AI tools.
• Experiment by turning strategies into measurable operational tests.
• Build and launch new products, driving continuous improvement.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams across growth, design, marketing, and product.
