Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking an AVP & Operations Product Owner to own the full roadmap, backlog and day-to-day direction for assigned products and initiatives.

You will prioritize trade-offs, engage stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of customer value within governance standards. The role requires strong leadership, experience with Agile/Scrum, and the ability to coordinate across business, technology, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in product ownership, business analysis, technology, operations or related discipline with exposure to product ownership preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative delivery methodologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact across all levels of the organization, including senior management.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap, backlog, and day-to-day direction for the product area.
• Refine needs with business stakeholders to align with objectives and success factors.
• Lead backlog refinement and delivery planning with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate work across business, technology, vendor, and IT resources; communicate progress and risks.
• Monitor risks, controls, and timeframes to ensure on-time delivery; support issue resolution.
• Test new functionality and document test plans in correlation with business area.
• Collaborate with project management on new initiatives within the assigned area.
