Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking an AVP & Operations Product Owner to drive the product roadmap, backlog, and day-to-day direction for assigned business capabilities.

You will prioritize tradeoffs, refine stakeholder needs, and ensure high-value delivery within the roadmap while representing the voice of the customer. You will collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams, manage dependencies, and ensure regulatory and risk controls are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or analytics-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in product ownership, business analysis, technology, operations or related discipline with exposure to product ownership preferred.
• Experience supporting technology, operational, or business initiatives. Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or other iterative delivery methodologies is a plus.
• Provides clarification on assigned requirements and work items. Strategic prioritization, roadmap decisions, and cross-functional tradeoffs remain the responsibility of senior product leadership.
• Strong written communication, analytical thinking, requirements documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Owns the full roadmap, backlog and day-to-day direction for the product area.
• Leads backlog refinement, delivery planning, requirements clarification, and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinates with business, technology, vendor, and functional teams to communicate progress and priorities.
• Ensures delivered work meets acceptance criteria, risk controls, regulatory requirements and defined success measures.
• Acts as liaison between business area and IT vendors to resolve issues and drive releases.
• Monitors system deliverables and trends to optimize value delivery for customers.
