Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking an AVP & Operations Product Owner to guide the roadmap and day-to-day direction for strategic products and initiatives within the business area. You will balance priorities, refine stakeholder needs, and ensure value delivery with a customer-centric approach.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and collaboration with technology, operations and vendor teams to drive successful outcomes in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; degree in information systems, business, or analytics-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in product ownership, business analysis, technology, operations or related discipline.
• Experience supporting technology, operational, or business initiatives; exposure to Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Strong written communication, analytical thinking and requirements documentation skills.
• Ability to interact across all levels of the organization, including senior management and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Owns the full roadmap, backlog and day-to-day direction for assigned products or initiatives.
• Prioritizes and makes trade-off decisions within the roadmap.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to refine needs and define success measures.
• Leads backlog refinement, delivery planning, and requirements clarification.
• Coordinates with IT, vendors and business teams to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, risk controls and audit requirements.
