Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is seeking a Business Operations Manager, Specialty Services to provide operational leadership and strategic support for our specialty care departments. The role interfaces with department chiefs, physician leaders, and nursing management to ensure efficiency and high performance.

Key focus areas include appointment access, provider allocations, financial analysis, and leading process improvement projects while building business cases and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of healthcare experience.
• Understand CPT and ICD9 coding & claims analysis.
• Strong use of quantitative reports and analyses.
• Excellent project management experience.
• Experience leading process improvement projects and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and business strategy support for specialty care departments.
• Develop and execute department strategy plans with performance metrics.
• Create department scorecards for ongoing oversight of business and clinical execution.
• Utilize analytics and performance tools to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
• Conduct utilization and claims analysis and present remediation plans to chiefs.
