Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is seeking a Business Operations Manager, Specialty Services in Atlanta to lead operational strategy for subspecialty departments. Collaborate with physician leaders, optimize appointment access, analyze claims data, and drive process improvements to enhance quality and financial performance.

You will work with department chiefs and nursing management to implement strategic initiatives, monitor performance, and internalize services within the Kaiser

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree;Masters preferred.
• 3–5 years of healthcare experience.
• Understand CPT and ICD9 coding and claims analysis.
• Strong ability to analyze large data sets.
• Excellent project management and process improvement experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking.
• Experience leading change management and multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operations management for specialty care departments.
• Develop and execute specialty care department strategy plans.
• Prepare performance monitoring tools and scorecards for ongoing oversight.
• Utilize data analytics to improve efficiency, quality and clinical outcomes.
• Conduct utilization and external claims analysis and monitor trends.
• Perform root-cause analysis and present findings to chiefs and physician leaders for remediation.
• Guide provider distribution and appointment scheduling strategies.
• Seek opportunities to internalize medical and surgical services and build business cases.
