Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a proven Operations Manager to lead a cross-functional team in Benefit Payment Services. You will drive performance, coach staff, and ensure high-quality service for internal and external customers.

You will oversee risk controls, compliance with laws, and continuous process improvements while supporting key strategic initiatives and daily operations in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in operations or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of operational functions, processes, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Directly and through staff, manage and coordinate operational activities for assigned areas with a focus on quality service.
• Lead a team of ~9 employees across multiple operational specialties.
• Establish goals, provide coaching, measure performance, and drive accountability.
• Monitor workflows and ensure SLAs are achieved.
• Review operations and approvals for designated transactions.
• Support risk management and maintain controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless handoffs.
• Oversee adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
