Job summary

BankPro, a private digital bank, seeks a Banking Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operations including payments, vendor management, and correspondent banking relationships in a fast-paced digital environment.

The role requires strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to improve payment processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team of operations professionals to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in banking operations, including at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Deep understanding of payment lifecycles, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, SLAs, and contracts.
• Familiarity with correspondent banking operations and account maintenance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret operational data and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a fast-paced, international setting.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payment lifecycles from initiation to settlement and reconciliation, identifying bottlenecks and improvements.
• Ensure payment processes comply with policies, regulatory requirements, and audit readiness.
• Manage vendor agreements, negotiate SLAs and pricing, monitor performance.
• Lead integration programs with new payment providers and banking partners.
• Maintain correspondent banking relationships and handle operational queries, escalations, and liquidity management.
• Supervise and continuously improve payment authorisation procedures and analyze performance data.
• Lead and develop a team of banking operations professionals with clear objectives and KPIs.
