Silver Bay Seafoods is seeking a Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR leader across our family of companies, balancing local needs with corporate standards. On-site coordination, investigations, compliance, and employee relations will be core, with a focus on audit-ready HR records and regulatory adherence.

Based in West Seattle at Orca Bay Foods, you will partner with leadership to drive recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and safety initiatives while maintaining

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in HR management or leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing or food processing; satellite location reporting to HQ.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of Washington, California, and Alaska employment laws preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary contact for managers and employees on workplace matters.
• Conduct workplace investigations and guide corrective actions and terminations per policy.
• Support performance reviews and coach managers on documentation.
• Promote employee engagement and ensure consistent policy application.
• Maintain personnel files, employment verifications, and I-9 compliance.
• Communicate and implement HR policies in line with corporate office.
• Ensure site compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
