Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Oncology Overlay Sales Specialist to join our national team in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Lung Oncology division. You will educate key oncology stakeholders and promote our therapies across a defined territory, combining clinical insight with strategic account management.

You will convey complex clinical information, identify unmet needs, and collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure access and patient benefit while traveling up to 20%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 4 years sales experience in pharma/biotech specialty sales or device and/or comparable Oncology experience.
• Oncology sales experience is highly preferred.
• Strong desire to put patients’ health first.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
• Proven ability to communicate a compelling, clinical message with customers.
• High learning agility for multiple client teams.
• Prior experience working collaboratively in a team environment at an account level.
• Knowledge of reimbursement and fulfillment pathway for specialty products.
• Strong account management and selling skills focused on customer service.
• Ambitious, adaptable and able to navigate ambiguous environments.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 20% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate and promote oncology therapeutics to key stakeholders.
• Convey complex clinical, diagnostic, and access information to customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure services are available where appropriate.
• Define territory plans and target key hospitals, clinics, and accounts.
• Present clinical messages effectively across face-to-face, phone, and virtual platforms.
