Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to advance scientific engagement in oncology, supporting an external biopharmaceutical partner. You will build trusted relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals, delivering disease-state education and gathering actionable insights for Medical Affairs.

Qualifications

• Strong scientific communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role and travel extensively.
• Experience conducting balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange and communicating complex clinical information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a field-based scientific expert within assigned East, Central, or West territory.
• Establish and maintain scientific credibility with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and other oncology stakeholders.
• Facilitate non-promotional exchange about oncology disease states, data, and evolving standards of care.
• Acquire and maintain deep scientific knowledge across therapeutic areas and interpret relevant information.
• Gather insights and communicate to internal Medical Affairs partners.
• Identify opportunities for scientific engagement aligned with strategy.
• Support medical congresses, advisory activities, and field initiatives.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific information requests accurately and fairly.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders while maintaining separation from commercial activities.
• Maintain documentation and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Independently manage a large geographic territory with prioritization of activities.
