Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Occupancy Planning Lead in New York to manage a team of occupancy planners and MAC members. You will partner with the Workplace Planner to develop strategic occupancy options that meet client needs, balancing campus programs, equipment, and timelines.

You will guide analytics, present scenarios to stakeholders, and ensure consistent planning practices across the organization. A strong leadership and communication skillset is essential.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of relevant professional experience post-graduation.
• 8-10+ years of experience leading occupancy planning teams.
• Undergraduate or master’s degree in architecture, interior design, environmental design, urban design, real estate, design strategy, organizational development, organizational psychology, or similar fields.
• Academic or professional experience in math, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or other quantitative fields is a plus.
• Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and management.
• Experience in working with workplace performance data and survey data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure global consistency in delivery of services, training, and review of all deliverables; incorporate best practices and collaborate with other JLL service lines.
• Lead campus-wide projects and delegate occupancy planning work across the senior OP and OP team.
• Implement analytical methodologies for solving business problems to make portfolio-level decisions.
• Develop insights from large data sets to assess impact on project goals and long-term planning strategies.
• Support working sessions with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Articulate campus scenarios and present plans and data to illustrate multiple solutions for client objectives.
• Guide the development of project narratives through presentations and reports.
• Provide day-to-day direction to occupancy planning staff and maintain strategic direction with the client.
