Boys & Girls Club Of the Northern Plains is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to strengthen financial operations across multiple locations. This mission-driven nonprofit prioritizes transparent reporting, strong governance, and strategic stewardship of resources.

As CFO, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and compliance, partnering with the CEO, Board, and Finance Committee to sustain impact and growth. A commitment to mission and nonprofit finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required; MBA preferred or equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive nonprofit financial leadership experience; GAAP knowledge essential.
• Experience with fund accounting, grants, and donor reporting highly desirable.
• Strong ability to translate complex financial data for diverse stakeholders; board-ready communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and financial planning across multiple locations.
• Strengthen internal controls, treasury practices, and cash-flow management.
• Provide timely, decision-ready financial information to CEO, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee.
• Oversee accounting, audits, tax compliance, grant reporting, and regulatory filings.
• Partner with development and operations to support funding strategies and organizational growth.
