Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, accounting, reporting, and treasury across multiple locations. This role partners with the CEO, Board, and Finance Committee to translate mission into sound financial decisions.

The ideal candidate brings nonprofit financial leadership, GAAP expertise, and a collaborative leadership style to strengthen controls, forecasting, and donor reporting while building scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of nonprofit financial leadership experience.
• Experience with fund accounting and GAAS preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax compliance.
• Ability to present to board and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and reporting across multiple locations.
• Strengthen internal controls and treasury practices.
• Partner with CEO, Board, and Finance Committee.
• Guide revenue forecasting and donor reporting.
• Mentor staff and build scalable systems.
