Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, accounting, reporting, treasury, and compliance. The CFO will partner with the CEO and executive team to drive budgeting, forecasting, planning, and long-range financial health across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, US GAAP, IRS regulations, and 501(c)(3) compliance.
• Ability to develop budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen financial visibility and reporting for the CEO, Board, and Finance Committee.
• Lead cash-flow management, forecasting, and banking relationships.
• Build scalable financial systems, controls, and policies for a growing, multi-location organization.
• Guide budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and scenario analyses to support program decisions.
• Enhance board partnership through clear financial updates and recommendations.
• Develop staff and strengthen organizational capacity in finance.
• Collaborate with fundraising/development on revenue forecasting and donor reporting.
