Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains (BGCNP) seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, accounting, reporting, compliance, treasury, and operations across multiple communities in the region. The CFO will partner with the CEO, executive team, Board, and Finance Committee to strengthen financial health and strategic growth.

Ideal candidate brings 5+ years of nonprofit finance leadership, deep knowledge of fund accounting, GAAP, and a collaborative leadership style focused on

Qualifications

5+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience within nonprofit organizations.
Experience with fund accounting and GAAS strongly preferred.
Ability to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy, accounting, reporting, compliance, treasury, and operations.
Provide transparent analysis and recommendations to CEO, Board, and Finance Committee.
Strengthen internal controls, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Build scalable financial systems to support multi-location operations.
Partner with development to strengthen revenue forecasting and donor reporting.
