Job summary

The Miskiri Hospitality Group in the United States is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee strategic and financial health across all restaurant locations. You will lead senior management, enforce brand standards, and drive profitability while maintaining hospitality and cost controls.

Responsibilities include P&L oversight, budgeting, cost management, vendor negotiations, SOP enforcement, and talent development for GMs and Executive Chefs. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in multi-unit restaurant management (Area/District Manager or DO).
• Strong understanding of restaurant financial metrics, budgeting, and cost accounting software.
• Proven ability to coach and manage remote management teams.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% between locations (regional travel).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Hospitality Management, or related field; executive experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee P&L across all locations to identify trends and opportunities.
• Establish annual budgets, revenue targets, and capex plans with executives.
• Implement strict cost controls on prime costs (food, beverage, labor, waste).
• Negotiate high-level contracts with supply chain partners.
• Ensure SOPs, recipe specs, and service protocols are consistently applied.
• Enforce health codes, ABC regulations, labor laws, and safety standards.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor GMs and Executive Chefs.
• Lead succession planning and quarterly/annual performance reviews.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and ROI tracking.
• Support site expansion, design, and staffing for new openings.
