Redstone Federal Credit Union in Huntsville, AL seeks a financial professional to support the mortgage rate lock desk, pricing engine, and investor loan delivery. You will process rate lock requests, assist originators with pricing questions, monitor hedging and reporting, and collaborate across the mortgage team for accurate data and efficient platforms.

A strong background in finance, 2 years in a financial institution, and advanced Excel skills are required; knowledge of fixed income markets

Formación

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Finance, Accounting, Economics or other Business related field - Required
• 2 Years - Financial Institution experience. - Required
• Secondary marketing, mortgage banking, or capital markets experience - Preferred
• Superior Excel skills and attention to detail required
• Familiarity with fixed income investments and macro/microeconomic influences

Responsabilidades

• Process new mortgage interest rate lock requests and administer post-lock changes per policy
• Assist mortgage loan originators with loan pricing questions and issues; provide front-line pricing engine support
• Assist with mortgage investor reporting and reconciling discrepancies with external investors
• Monitor mortgage rate locks and secondary market commitments to ensure hedging success
• Collaborate with mortgage lending departments and external investors to maintain platform functionality
• Perform financial analyses including ROI, profitability, and cost analyses to inform management
• Develop efficiencies and process improvements using multiple software programs to save time
