Job summary

Paysafe is seeking an experienced Sales Executive, Mid-Market, to accelerate growth in our mid-market payments segment. The role focuses on engaging and closing mid-market accounts, expanding our market share for merchants processing $10MM–$250MM annually, and maintaining a robust pipeline.

You will lead prospecting efforts, manage relationships, and collaborate with leadership to refine selling strategies. Strong Salesforce discipline and self-motivation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a high-performing sales role, with mid-market merchant services or payments experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to self-generate a significant portion of sales pipeline and close high-value accounts.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, merchant services, acquiring, pricing, and POS solutions; experience with Fiserv and Clover is a plus.
• Experience selling payments solutions into B2B customers.

Responsibilities

• Proactively develop and manage a robust pipeline of mid-market leads and prospects, with direct prospecting and territory development.
• Drive new business through a mix of field prospecting, cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and existing relationships; negotiate terms and close high-revenue opportunities.
• Own and execute a structured territory plan with daily/weekly priorities for pipeline creation, engagement, and progression.
• Build strong prospect and client relationships by educating decision makers on product capabilities, offerings, and industry trends; establish clear next steps and consistent follow-up.
• Monitor competitive offerings and regulatory changes to inform sales strategy and adapt to client needs.
