Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to exceed client expectations by managing relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

You will lead service delivery, analyze plan data, and implement strategic solutions that align with client needs and Voya’s offerings. The role requires 6+ years in defined contribution client service, strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel 35–50% nationwide.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in client service relationship management for defined contribution plans.
• State insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of 401(k) plans and investment background.
• Extensive client management experience and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Travel 35–50%; nationwide locations; work-from-home option within designated territory.
• Industry certifications and FINRA licensing (6/7 and 63) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client stakeholders to build trust-based relationships with executives and teams.
• Lead cross-functional service teams to execute plans and report on metrics.
• Manage RFIs, RFPs, and benchmarking; handle contract negotiations and SLAs.
• Coordinate internal resources for client projects and manage costs and timelines.
• Identify growth opportunities and participate in sales processes for new 401(k) business.
