Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to ensure service strategy meets client expectations. This role is a remote, individual contributor position with travel 35–50% across nationwide territories.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage RFPs/RFIs, and negotiate contracts while driving client growth and retention. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in defined contribution client service, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and FINRA licensing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of client service/relationship management for defined contribution plans.
• State insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of 401(k) plans and investment concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel 35–50% nationwide; Locations – Nation-wide.
• FINRA Series 6/7 and 63 licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client stakeholders to develop trust-based relationships within client organizations, including Senior Executives, Treasury, Human Resources, Benefits, Advisors, and TPAs.
• Lead cross-functional service teams to execute client plans and report on effectiveness based on agreed metrics.
• Manage RFIs, RFPs, and benchmarking exercises for clients; negotiate contract terms and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing; ensure SLA adherence and service level performance.
• Identify business opportunities for organic growth and cross-sale of Voya recordkeeping products; participate in RFP responses.
