Job summary

OOIDA in Grain Valley, MO is seeking an innovative Membership Manager to transform the membership function from transactional to strategic growth. You will lead strategies to strengthen relationships, improve retention and engagement, and optimize the member journey.

Collaborating across divisions, you will drive initiatives that deliver measurable value for members and the organization, coach the team, and build scalable processes to ensure every interaction reinforces the value of membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in membership, customer experience, business development, operations, or related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies that drive membership growth, retention, and engagement.
• Lead the transformation of the Membership department into a proactive, member-focused business function.
• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end member experience, from onboarding through renewal.
• Lead strategic win-back and retention initiatives to strengthen long-term member relationships.
• Analyze member feedback, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build strong partnerships across departments to deliver a seamless and consistent member experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Membership team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Develop scalable processes and operational improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
