Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon, seeks a Senior Membership Manager to lead the Membership Team and drive member growth and retention. You will oversee strategy, operations, analytics, and governance to deliver an exceptional member experience across the lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on collaboration with committees, boards, and senior leadership to elevate privacy and service standards in our private-club environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in membership, services, hospitality, or related field.
• 3+ years in leadership roles managing teams.
• Experience developing membership lifecycle strategies (acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention).
• Experience with committees, boards, or governance groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership strategy and lifecycle management.
• Oversee admissions, waitlists, and transitions.
• Analyze engagement, satisfaction, and retention trends.
• Oversee governance and committee support.
• Supervise and develop a high-performing team.
• Oversee membership analytics, data integrity, and reporting.
• Champion member experience across all lifecycle stages.
• Assist with budgeting and operational planning.
