Marriott Phoenix Airport is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to join our Sales & Catering team. You will drive revenue by selling and coordinating group meetings, conferences, and social events at our hotel, collaborating with the Director of Sales to execute high-quality events.

You will prospect new clients, manage event logistics, and ensure a seamless experience for clients and attendees. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking are essential in this fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event sales, planning or coordination in hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and secure group bookings for meetings and events.
• Produce revenue through room, banquet, and room rental opportunities.
• Coordinate site visits, proposals, and event orders with clients.
• Serve as primary contact before, during, and after events.
• Collaborate with F&B and operations to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare contracts and maintain accurate records in the sales system.
• Provide post-event follow-up to gather feedback and strengthen relationships.
