Job summary

Hyatt Regency Phoenix is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue by selling guest rooms, meeting and event space, and related services. The role manages existing accounts, develops new opportunities, conducts site inspections, and builds strong client relationships to achieve sales goals and maximize hotel revenue.

You will work with hotel operations and support teams to ensure exceptional service and successful event execution while growing business.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hotel sales experience.
• Experience selling group rooms, meetings, conventions, or catering.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality sales processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales management systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, solicit, and secure new business opportunities through sales calls, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts while identifying opportunities for additional business.
• Sell guest rooms, meeting space, catering services, and other hotel offerings.
• Conduct hotel site tours and destination presentations for prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements.
• Negotiate terms and successfully close business opportunities.
• Coordinate customer requirements with hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of programs and events.
• Maintain accurate client records, sales activities, and account information using Hyatt sales systems and tools.
