Job summary

Concord Hospitality in Durham, NC is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to deliver exceptional service to internal partners and external clients while driving group sales.

You will manage pre-event, event, and post-event details, forecast revenue, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with food & beverage, AV, and operations to ensure successful programs. This is a full-time role with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Always provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients.
• Responsible for proposing, prospecting, contracting, and detailing smaller corporate groups.
• Respond quickly and professionally to all internal partners and external customers and deliver clear communications representing Concord Hospitality.
• Demonstrate time management, motivation and proactive planning with attention to detail.
• Maintain existing accounts and develop new business for the hotel.
• Monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details including room blocks, space, concessions, contracts and billing.
• Attend customer functions as needed.
• Forecast group rooms and F&B revenues with internal and external partners.
• Learn about hotel products, function space, audio visual and related event details.
• Meet sales activity and revenue goals through calls, tours and appointments.
• Use sales systems and processes and implement tools to achieve goals.
• Participate in internal meetings, reports, and training.
• Foster teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit while pursuing career development.
• Comply with management requests and company policies.
