Job summary

K&A Power Group in Augusta, Maine is seeking a Materials Logistics Procurement Coordinator to join our team. You will spearhead procurement activities across projects, prepare RFPs, manage requisitions, and liaise with PMO and engineering teams to ensure timely material delivery for substations and energy projects.

Strong Excel and SAP skills are desired, with a minimum of five years in procurement. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Five years of procurement and/or supply chain experience.
• CPSM certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs in conjunction with the Project Team across PMO, Project Managers, Engineering, Construction Managers and Expediting.
• Prepare purchase requisition templates for framework, sole sourced, and delegated purchases.
• Manage procurement database for unreleased items and all purchases.
• Assist with procurement documents, including technical evaluations and justifications for sole sourced purchases.
• Coordinate with Project Schedulers to manage procurements and milestones.
• Coordinate with Document Control to store procurement documents.
• Verify availability of project funds for current and future purchases.
• Support sourcing, issuing PO's, tracking, expediting, and delivery to storage/project site.
