K&A Power Group in Augusta, Maine is seeking an Expeditor, Materials Specialist to support project teams with materials management, purchasing, and expediting for power utility and industrial projects. You will work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery and quality control on critical materials.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, 5 years in materials management, and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Equivalent Experience
• CPIM certification preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in Materials Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
• SAP Experience Preferred
• Experience in Utility Industry Preferred
• Must be a Maine resident

Responsibilities

• Sourcing materials and issuing purchase orders for projects
• Expediting delivery and tracking materials to site
• Verify Bills of Materials
• Identify suppliers
• Lead time analysis for commodities
• Prepare order acknowledgements
• Expedite delivery and manage materials
• Communicate material schedules to project managers
• Quality control
• Vendor damage claim management
