Job summary

K&A Power Group in Orange, CT, is seeking a highly motivated Materials/Logistics/Procurement Coordinator. You will join a team focused on energy and utility projects, handling procurement from RFPs to PO issuance, with emphasis on collaboration across PMO, engineering, and construction teams.

The role requires a BS/BA in Business, 5 years in procurement, and SAP/MS Excel proficiency. A hybrid schedule is offered with competitive compensation for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Five years of procurement/supply chain experience.
• CPSM certification preferred.
• MS Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs with Project Team and stakeholders.
• Prepare requisition templates for framework, sole source, and delegated purchases.
• Manage procurement database for unreleased items and framework purchases.
• Assist with procurement documents and justify sole-sourced purchases.
• Coordinate procurement milestones with Project Schedulers and store documents in control system.
• Verify project funds availability for purchases.
• Support sourcing, issuing purchase orders, tracking, expediting, and delivery to site.
