Job summary

K&A Power Group in Orange, CT is seeking a Materials Logistics Procurement Coordinator to manage procurement activities for power projects. You will collaborate with PMO, Engineering, and Construction teams to prepare RFPs, requisitions, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in business or equivalent, 5 years in procurement, proficiency in MS Excel and SAP, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Five years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• CPSM certification preferred.
• MS Excel with pivot tables, VLOOKUP and related functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs in coordination with the Project Team including PMO, Project Managers, Engineering and Construction Managers.
• Prepare purchase requisition templates for framework, sole source and delegated purchases.
• Manage procurement database for unreleased items and all purchases.
• Assist Project Management with procurement documents, evaluations and change orders.
• Coordinate with Project Schedulers to manage procurement milestones in the project schedule.
• Coordinate with Document Control to store procurement documents.
• Verify availability of project funds for current and future purchases.
• Support sourcing, issuing PO, tracking, expediting, and delivery to storage areas and project site.
