Job summary

K&A Power Group in Orange, CT is seeking a highly motivated Materials/Logistics/Procurement Coordinator to join our team. You will work on challenging energy-sector projects, coordinating procurement activities, and supporting project management across multiple departments.

The position emphasizes collaboration, process efficiency, and timely procurement execution. A hybrid schedule and a strong background in procurement and supply chain are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Five years of procurement and/or supply chain experience.
• CPSM certification preferred.
• MS Excel expertise including pivot tables and lookups.
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in SAP preferred.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under stress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs with the Project Team and relevant departments.
• Prepare purchase requisition templates for various procurements.
• Manage procurement database for unreleased and delegated purchases.
• Assist with procurement documents and provide justification for purchases.
• Coordinate with project schedulers for procurement milestones.
• Coordinate with Document Control to store procurement documents.
• Verify availability of project funds for purchases.
• Sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking, expediting, and deliveries to storage areas and site.
