Job summary

Slate is seeking a Material / Inventory Analyst to oversee planning, purchasing, and inventory of service parts and accessories. You will work with SI&OP, warehouse/3PL, and suppliers to ensure availability for customers and partners.

You will set safety stocks, manage POs, and optimize inventory levels while building strong supplier relationships. A degree and 3+ years in SCM are preferred, with strong analytical and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred.
• 3+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management.
• Strong analytical skills in material management processes.
• Proficiency in ERP Systems and PM tools.
• Excel and data tools like SmartSheets/Tableau/Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SI&OP to understand portfolio requirements.
• Place and track purchase orders through the ERP system.
• Review lead times, MOQs, rounding values to optimize inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and expedite/de-expedite orders as needed.
• Develop parts-level strategies for efficient inventory control.
• Manage tactical supplier relationships and partnerships.
