Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Supply Chain Management Material Analyst to support purchasing and materials planning, ensuring on-time availability of parts and services for production. You will analyze material needs, review system reports, and assist with quotes while maintaining accurate data and records.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, sales, and operations to resolve issues, track orders, and optimize supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, purchasing, or a related field.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, technical information, and engineering documents.
• Strong math, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas preferred).
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to verify data accuracy before sharing reports.

Responsibilities

• Review internal system reports to ensure materials are available for production and kitting schedules.
• Assist in evaluating material requirements and identifying shortages or delays.
• Support the quoting process by reviewing technical documents, gathering pricing, and preparing accurate customer quotes.
• Communicate with vendors to track orders, confirm delivery dates, and resolve basic issues.
• Maintain knowledge of components, suppliers, and materials to support purchasing decisions.
• Monitor vendor performance related to on-time delivery, cost, and quality.
• Review inventory parameters and recommend updates when needed.
• Follow company purchasing procedures and ensure compliance with established policies.
