Job summary

Slate, a U.S.-based startup, is seeking an energetic SI&OP Manager to lead a team of analysts and drive Sales Inventory and Operations Planning across multiple business units, including vehicles and accessories. You will forecast demand, optimize inventory, coordinate procurement and production, and present actionable insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, Data Analytics or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management, preferably in SI&OP or Demand Planning.
• 2+ years of previous manager experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management role is required.
• Strong analytical skills, with understanding of data interpretation and forecasting models (statistical and non-statistical).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis tools (SmartSheets, Tableau, Alteryx or scripting tools).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly to multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of SI&OP Analysts across Slate's multiple business units.
• Standardize SI&OP processes and drive continuous improvement to KPIs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other units to gather insights and historical data for forecast development.
• Develop accurate demand forecasts and document adjustments to assess data accuracy.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement, production, and fulfillment to meet demand.
• Provide insights to resolve imbalances between Demand, Inventory, and Operations plans.
• Track KPIs related to SI&OP, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and procurement performance.
• Support monthly SI&OP cycles with analysis, KPI reporting, and presentation preparation.
