Job summary

Slate Automotive LLC is seeking a Material / Inventory Analyst to oversee planning, purchasing, and inventory of service parts and accessories in the United States. You will collaborate with the SI&OP team, manage purchase orders through our ERP system, and work with suppliers to optimize lead times and order quantities.

This role requires strong analytical skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to build and sustain supplier relationships in a startup‑like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Material Management, Material Analytics, Operations, or equivalent is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management, preferably in Material Management.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of material management processes.
• Proficiency in ERP Systems and Project Management tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (Tableau, Alteryx, SmartSheets, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and data presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SI&OP team to understand requirements for your parts portfolio.
• Place and track purchase orders through the ERP system.
• Work with suppliers to review lead times, MOQs, and other data to optimize inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and expedites/de-expedites orders as needed.
• Develop and implement parts-level strategies for efficient inventory control.
• Own tactical supplier relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
