Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Sr Program Manager to oversee the integration and management of multiple large-scale programs, ensuring cost control, scheduling, and technical execution across IPTs. You will drive performance, lead several program/project managers, and maintain critical customer relationships.

This role requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI, and offers a competitive salary with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• 5+ years leading large-scale projects with 10+ cross-functional members.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience evaluating proposals/quotes and managing multiple large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage total Program Integration for multiple large-scale projects or one highly complex development with high visibility and above-average deliverables.
• Lead a portfolio of Program/Project Managers focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
• Track and report project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.
• Supervise program and project staff to ensure successful outcomes.
• Participate in business resource planning and coordination with corporate entities.
• Formulate and lead a team to fulfill program requirements.
• Identify, track, and resolve program issues and risks.
• Develop proposals, conduct research, and negotiate with stakeholders to meet cost, schedule constraints.
