Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Sr Program Manager to oversee the integration and management of multiple large-scale projects or one highly complex development. You will lead a portfolio of Program and/or Project Managers, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical execution to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years in aerospace/defense project management, leadership of 10+ cross-functional staff, and deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry.
• 5+ years leading large scale projects, with scope spanning multiple years, while leading teams of 10+ cross functional members.
• Experience with evaluation of RFPs/quotes and proposals.
• Familiar with FAR/DFARS compliance and program controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total Program Integration for multiple large-scale projects or one highly complex development.
• Lead a portfolio of Program/Project Managers focused on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
• Track and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.
• Supervise program staff to ensure successful outcomes and coordinate with corporate entities.
• Develop proposals, conduct research, coordinate audits, and negotiate with stakeholders to meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.
