Job summary

The Campbell's Company is seeking a Market Development Lead to drive market growth by partnering with Independent Distributor Partners (IDPs) and retailers. You will build strong relationships with IDPs, store leadership, and retailer decision makers, using disciplined planning to adapt to changing technology, conditions, and consumer behavior.

You will lead route discussions, deliver sales plans, identify opportunities, and coordinate inventory, merchandising, promotions, and events to expand

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related sales or CPG experience, or 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication, influencing, leadership, problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel locally and overnight, relocate if required, and work flexible hours based on business and retailer needs.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and drive regularly to stores, warehouses, and hubs in the market.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Independent Distributor Partners (IDPs) and retailers to drive sales growth.
• Deliver weekly to quarterly sales plans and expand market share.
• Coordinate inventory, merchandising, promotions, and retailer events.
• Communicate performance trends and opportunities to IDPs and internal teams.
• Support launches, planograms, and route optimization across channels.
