Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company, based in Kingsport, TN, is seeking a Market Development Manager for its Specialty Fluids division, focusing on Heat Transfer Fluids. You will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to drive growth, map addressable markets, and lead front-end innovation from idea to concept with solid market research.

Collaborating with Sales and cross-functional partners, you’ll manage Stage-Gate projects via the EBME framework, craft value propositions and Economic Value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 8+ years in engineering, marketing, business development, product management, or commercial roles.
• Experience identifying and commercializing growth opportunities in B2B environments.
• Experience in heat transfer fluids or related markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess markets, applications, customers, and value chains to identify growth opportunities and unmet needs.
• Develop and maintain addressable market/application maps.
• Lead front-end innovation; idea to Concept (I2C) innovation development platform using strong market research.
• Manage Stage-Gate projects from opportunity identification through commercialization and post-launch review using the EBME framework.
• Develop market activation plans, value propositions, Economic Value Estimates in partnership with relevant teams.
• Work with Sales to advance leads and convert opportunities into commercial wins.
