City Electric Supply, Apex, NC, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the US market and strengthen customer relationships. You will work with Inside Support Team, Outside Sales, Contractors, End Users, and coordinate with branch employees nationwide to deliver exceptional service and secure new business.

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge within the same industry is preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience or electrical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement new target market initiatives within the Market.
• Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth.
• Research prospective accounts in target markets, pursue leads, and move them through the sales cycle.
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of the market.
• Collaborate with customer design and sales teams to consult on products and ensure end customer design requirements are met.
• Develop, present, and negotiate proposals for prospective clients.
• Attend industry conferences, conduct sales meetings, and conduct training for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide product and educational demonstrations to customers, engineers, and branches.
• Assist with the continual improvement and delivery of strong day-to-day processes and systems for lead generation.
• Provide marketing materials on company products and services to qualified prospects
• Work with the management and marketing teams to assist in the follow-up activities related to specific marketing campaigns and webinars.
