Job summary

Novartis in the United States seeks an Associate Director, Market Access Contracting to lead contracts across Managed Care, Medicare, and channel agreements. This role partners with pricing, account management, finance, legal, and market access leaders to shape contracting strategies that support patient access and commercial success.

This is a remote role based anywhere in the U.S. with no relocation and reporting to the Market Access leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Law; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare.
• Experience in contract reviewing/writing, reporting, and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of contracts and pricing impacts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central contact for pricing, channel strategy, and senior leadership on contracting matters.
• Develop contract proposals and negotiation strategies with pricing and account management.
• Collaborate to develop brand contracting strategies.
• Coordinate with MMF on contract changes and payment determinations.
• Support amendments, renewal tracking, and new contracting templates.
• Ensure contracts meet SLAs and SOPs.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
