Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking an Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement (ADAR) for a remote, field-based role covering multiple U.S. geographies.

You will educate providers and staff on access programs, collaborate across NPC functions, and drive pull-through of reimbursement strategies in complex accounts. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in pharma/biotech, with expertise in payer policy, buy-and-bill, and patient support programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (Business and/or biological science preferred).
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech patient services, market access, sales, or account management.
• Experience with complex practices/health systems to establish access.
• Strategic account management to anticipate access hurdles.
• Expertise integrating manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.
• Experience with specialty products via Specialty Pharmacy networks.
• Knowledge of reimbursement pathways (specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, retail).

Responsibilities

• Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access and provide education on programs to providers and staff.
• Collaborate with therapeutic area offices and cross-functional NPC teams to support access strategies.
• Educate HCPs on buy-and-bill end-to-end processes, workflows, and alternative channels for administration.
• Analyze reimbursement issues and advise on policy changes affecting accounts and patient access.
• Engage with non-prescribers (pharmacy, financial counselors, revenue cycle) in relation to Novartis medicines.
