Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking an Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement to partner with healthcare accounts across a field-based geography. This role focuses on reimbursement strategy, patient access, and provider education, with extensive cross-functional collaboration and a priority on compliant solutions.

The position is field-based with remote work, travel 60-80% across the territory, and requires a valid driver’s license. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from 4-year college or university.
• 5+ years' experience in pharma/biotech supporting Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, Account Management, or related functions, including 2+ years in patient support for specialty products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare accounts to support patient access and reimbursement needs.
• Build relationships with providers, revenue cycle leaders, billing and coding teams, and healthcare decision-makers.
• Educate customers on access, reimbursement, payer coverage, and patient resources.
• Analyze access challenges and develop practical, compliant solutions to improve patient access.
• Serve as subject matter expert on regional reimbursement dynamics and payer policies.
• Support implementation and communication of coverage decisions impact on access and accounts.
• Guide product acquisition and buy-and-bill processes including inventory and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with Patient Support Services to resolve issues and educate customers.
• Share insights on reimbursement trends to inform strategy.
