Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager of Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through organic and inorganic strategic projects, including digital health and venture opportunities. The role interfaces with management teams and requires regular travel to the U.S.

HQ in Lake Zurich, with local candidates prioritized. The position offers a competitive salary range ($138,000–$150,000) and eligibility for an annual bonus (target 10%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across all Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead and work closely with functional leads and regional heads; collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for Fresenius management to create alignment and support prioritization efforts related to inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and recommendation of new business areas, target evaluations, scenario planning and modeling activities.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Oversee inorganic opportunities through all phases including identifying, evaluating, negotiating and execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants, brokers, business principals and investment banks.
