Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC seeks a Manager for Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through strategic inorganic and organic initiatives. The role engages with Fresenius management and cross-functional teams to evaluate markets, perform due diligence, and develop compelling business cases.

The position involves regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters and offers a target annual bonus of 10% of base salary. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with minimum 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and analytics; 3+ years healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Comfortable/thrives in ambiguous/rapidly evolving situations.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, and companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for Fresenius management to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and recommendations of new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases from identification to execution.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects and obtain board approvals.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to consultants, brokers, and investment banks.
