Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager for Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through organic and inorganic strategies, including digital health and ventures. Remote work is possible, with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; local candidates preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in BD, M&A, strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong grasp of financial statements and business impact.
• Experience in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel up to 15% (including international).

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups; identify targets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross-functional teams for due diligence, business case, approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage internal portfolio analysis and recommendations for new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases: identification, evaluation, negotiation, execution.
• Present Fresenius Kabi as a preferred partner to external interfaces (consultants, brokers, investment banks).
• Support strategy discussions with market dynamics insights.
