Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive inorganic growth and strategic projects. You will collaborate with management, lead due diligence, and shape business cases for new opportunities including digital health and emerging technologies.

The role includes regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL HQ; remote work is possible with priority given to local candidates. A 10% target bonus is typical, with comprehensive benefits described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in BD, M&A, strategy with healthcare experience.
• Strong financial statement understanding and business impact.
• Proven ability to navigate a complex matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, and targets for inorganic growth across Fresenius business areas with focus on nutrition, MedTech, and biopharma.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams from due diligence to board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management alignment on inorganic targets.
• Manage internal portfolio analysis and evaluate new business opportunities.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV, and precedent analyses.
• Drive strategic corporate projects through identification, evaluation, negotiation and execution.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver on corporate projects and due diligence.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces and investment banks.
• Use market insights to inform strategy and future direction.
