Job summary

Outcomes is seeking a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions to lead growth through acquisitions and strategic investments. The role drives financial modeling, deal evaluation, diligence, and integration planning in partnership with executives.

You will manage cross-functional teams, develop business cases, and deliver concise recommendations to senior leaders, influencing critical transactions and post‑close integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading M&A transactions from evaluation through closing.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Experience coordinating complex due diligence processes involving multiple functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, transaction structures, and deal economics.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic and financial objectives.
• Assess targets, partnerships, and other investment opportunities.
• Develop business cases and recommendations on transaction opportunities.
• Conduct market and industry analyses to support investment decisions.
• Maintain the acquisition pipeline and prioritize opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional due diligence across departments.
• Support negotiation and terms with leadership and legal counsel.
• Identify risks and ensure they are considered in recommendations.
• Support signing and closing of transactions.
• Partner with leaders to establish integration plans and success measures.
• Track synergy opportunities and post-close execution.
