Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager for Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through strategic projects across nutrition, MedTech, and biopharmaceuticals. The role collaborates with management and global teams, including due diligence, business case development, and execution.

The position supports remote work with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters. A 10% target bonus is included; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in BD, M&A, Strategy or analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization.
• Comfortable in ambiguous/rapidly evolving situations.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify inorganic growth targets.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross-functional teams for due diligence, business case development, approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents to secure management alignment for inorganic targets.
• Manage internal strategic portfolio analysis and recommendations for new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for targets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Oversee inorganic opportunities through all phases from identification to execution.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver on corporate projects and due diligence.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces such as consultants and investment banks.
• Use market insights to inform strategy and future direction of the business.
